Unwind in Plymouth: 4 Favorite Spots for Creatives

If you’re a small business owner or creative, you know the hustle never stops—but neither should your self-care. This summer, if you find yourself in charming Plymouth, MA, here are a few ways to slow down, refuel, and find inspiration in your surroundings.

#1. COFFEE AT A LOCAL CAFE

I personally love meeting friends for coffee and catching up. I always leave feeling happier and less stressed:). Jolly Bean Cafe has rave reviews and is cute with a cozy atmosphere. You can order online too! 88 Carmelot Drive.

If you can’t part from your laptop😉,you might want to try Kiskadee Coffee Co., 18 Main Street. This place has a comfortable vibe and makes you want to stay awhile.

The Blueberry Muffin, 12 Village Green is a fun place to grab a cup of coffee and breakfast. It’s cozy in the cooler months and there are some outside tables in the summer. It CAN get busy! Great place to people watch or visit with a friend. It’s open 6AM-1PM most days.

#2. SUNSET SAIL IN PLYMOUTH HARBOR

You know it’s summer, when you’re sipping a drink, feeling the breeze, and letting the golden light over the Harbor melt your cares away. There are many different types of cruises to choose from too! (also, different price points.)

#3. VISIT THE MAYFLOWER II AND PLIMOTH PATUXET MUSEUMS

Revisit the past! You can walk the deck and imagine how life was for the Pilgrims on this full-scale replica of the original 1620 ship. At the museum you can learn more about how the Pilgrims survived and also learn about the Wampanoag people. Both locations are beautiful and great places to reflect on the resilience of these communities.

#4. CHECK OUT THE CORDAGE COMMERCE CENTER

What was once home to the world’s largest rope maker, now combines medical, tech., and educational tenants, as well as, several places to dine. Some of those include: Roosters Cafe, 1620 Winery, Dirty Water Distillery and the Black Raspberry Pub. (I recommend checking the Pub out at Christmas time for the decor!!!)

Today, the center has a very impressive “loft” feeling with high ceilings, exposed beams and views overlooking Kingston Bay. If you’re in the mood, you can stroll along the Seaside Rail Trail.

Taking some time to pause and reflect, whether strolling by the water, sipping coffee at a local cafe, or immersing yourself in history, can help you to feel recharged and reinvigorated to get back to business.

Keep Shining Brightly✨
