Cape Cod Author - Personal Branding Photoshoot
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing someone I truly admire on many levels. Dian D. Lane is a fellow Cape Codder, born and raised:)
She’s also a first time author! Her book: The Bluff House is getting rave review by readers. Dian recommends it as a beach read…a bit of mystery, romance and historical fiction.
Dian knew she wanted some updated branding photographs with her book…
The photo session was in a local Plymouth studio, (Co_Create_Studio), which I’d never shot in before. Once we unloaded our supplies, we analyzed the natural light coming in through the windows and determined where we’d begin photographing.
As the photoshoot progressed, we got into a groove and began to have a lot of fun. EVEN when the portable desk I’d brought, COLLAPSED!
One of my favorite things about the photoshoot was Dian’s positive “Let’s Do This!” attitude!! We experimented with different posing scenarios, and action shots. There was a LOT of laughter🤣.
Dian said “This was so much fun! Everyone should have their own photoshoot.” “I left the studio with confidence I haven’t felt since I was a girl.”
Dian is currently working on her highly anticipated second book!
